BUC Constitution - Home

The BUC Session has been rescheduled. It had originally been planned for Thursday 8 and Friday 9 July 2021, but has now been rescheduled for Thursday 21 and Friday 22 October 2021.
In the short period of time allocated to the BUC Session a lot of business needs to be conducted, including:
  • Hearing various reports
  • Voting new officers
  • Voting new executive committee members
  • Voting new departmental directors
  • Approving a strategic plan
These are just some of the main items of business, but one crucial matter that needs to be dealt with is the updating of the constitution. The current constitution was voted at the last BUC Session in 2016 but now needs to be updated to bring it in to line with UK charity law and the General Conference Model Union Constitution.
The purpose of this website is to guide you through the process of updating the BUC Constitution, so that as many questions as possible can be answered before the session itself.
